I like the Caribbean, and the sunsets are spectacular.” It was this tranquility, the stunning natural beauty, and the warmth of the people that drew him here. “I think I was born to empathize with people, like a good Dominican,” he says. “I wanted to start my business here to interact and get to know visitors, tourists, and my customers.” He opened his doors just over a year and four months ago, ready to share his passion.

Yet, Fausto remains driven by his passion for people and his vision for the future. “I would like to open a large Cigar Lounge with a restaurant featuring my style of service,” he dreams, “where anyone who arrives… can feel at home. I like to give the best of myself.”
His message to Dominicus visitors? “Enjoy your hotel – you paid for it – but also go out for a walk, get to know Dominicus, and support local businesses… Go out, walk around a bit, so you can get to know the real Dominican Republic and the hospitality of its people.”
